Did you know that plaque is one of the main culprits behind cavities? That is right, plaque is a biofilm that houses countless harmful bacteria in your mouth. These bacteria produce lactic acid. This lactic acid then burns into your teeth by leeching out calcium which is what your teeth are made out of. As you can imagine, this is particularly harmful for your teeth and results in indents in your teeth. These indents are known as cavities.
So, what can you do to get rid of these harmful bacteria? In this video, you will learn about a little known tip that works wonders.
Every dentist will tell you that the best way to prevent cavities is by brushing your teeth. This physically removes bacteria by scrubbing your teeth. However, there is another trick that may be even better. The trick is to create a mixture that your body already uses and brush it onto your teeth. This mixture consists of a quarter teaspoon of baking soda from your kitchen, a quarter teaspoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide, and a half cup of water. Once you have your mixture, you will brush your teeth as you normally would. Afterwards, brush your teeth with this new mixture. The chemicals should do well to break up and dissolve the plaque and bacteria in your mouth.
